Seriously, I cannot even think of any direction this company can go that I will care about. Let's review:
WWE Champ John Cena - What is there to do? He's beaten everyone. Multiple times. Who can he face?
Punk - The two have amazing chemistry but they have run into the same problem that TNA has with AJ and Daniels, they can still have awesome matches, but it has been done to death.
Rock - I don't see Rock coming back for Cena, especially to job. The storyline ran it's course and dragged the second time around.
Ryback - I HATE Ryback. He's not good. I don't even think he looks particularly intimidating with his goofy eyes and snaggle teeth. A feud with Ryback means either another "Cena slays a dragon" feud or WWE Champ Ryback. Next.
Mark Henry - I love Mark Henry. But he has not been treated as a man that threatens SuperCena. Yes he beat Ryback, but in the weakest way possible.
Orton - This feud was done so much that it has been like 5 years and people STILL don't wanna go back there.
Lesnar - Lesnar has a 66% losing record since returning a year ago. Let that sink in.

Haha, man, you gotta be bummed after last night's Raw.
This will be the true test of Cena's greatness. If he can get at least ***1/2 outta Ryback, then his skills will be unquestionable. And I agree, man, Ryback is fucking terrible and stupid. A heel Ryback may work a little better, we'll see.
But you do ask a great question, where do we go from here? I guess we know now we get Ryback, but since it's Extreme Rules, a hardcore style match could really work.
I know it won't happen, but I'd love to see a Jericho vs Cena feud again. They had a great match at Survivor Series 2008[?] that's really over-looked. They also had some great ones back in 2005. Maybe a returning Christian Cage? I've heard RVD signed a 2 year deal with WWE, so perhaps he'll get another shot at the main event. I could see RVD really upping his game again for the main event scene.

RVD is so unmotivated it would take some awesome herb to get his head on right. I was one of the few guys that was excited when he went to TNA because I thought he'd have a chance to work with great workers without the limits of WWE Style. He had 3 good matches during his whole run, one with Abyss and the other two against Jerry Lynn.
IMO the only way this Ryback thing is interesting is if he DOESN'T turn heel. Just make him a badass that wants to plow through everyone.

They can't make Ryback interesting to me. I hated Goldberg when I was a teenager, and my dislike for him covers Ryback as well. Although, I will say, at least Ryback loves the business.
Haha, I didn't even think of that. You're right, his entire run didn't have any great matches. And he was out there against the likes of AJ Styles at one point.
I still remember that iMPACT too. I was really pissed. AJ as a heel, with Ric as his manager was fantastic. Then they just up and killed his run like that, out of the blue.
