Probably the Mega Powers arc. Prior to that I was only into it sporadically.

Bret Hart beating the holy hell out of Lawler the night after the In Your House 1.
It was the first thing I'd ever seen of pro-wrestling, and I couldn't believe how fucking cool it was. This guy was just swearing, and beating the absolute hell out of someone. I mean, what more could an 11 year old want?

For me it was the formation of the Mega-Powers on SNME. Randy Savage being decimated by the Honky Tonk Man and the Hart Foundation, Liz getting shoved down and bailing out to run to the back, and Hogan coming to the rescue.
Bobby Heenan screaming that they couldn't let Hogan up when he slid into the ring really cemented him as an unbeatable superman in my eyes. The whole angle, as it evolved from there was one of the most captivating storylines in wrestling, ever.
I really wanted Savage to get his revenge and win the I-C title (back when it mattered) and move on to greater things. Little did I know how much goodness I was in store for over the next 3 years, capped by the "No Holds Barred: The Match" PPV.
Say what you will about Hogan and everyone else, WWE wishes that they could pull off a storyline like this nowadays.

Hogan assaulting Richard Belzer. Seriously. My parents always watched his show, and when he browbeat Hogan into putting the headlock on him and he obviously was hurt, I thought that was the coolest thing ever. Obviously, I was a twisted child. But from then on, I couldn't get enough of wrestling.

Warrior/Savage, and the angles that came after it. The entire Warrior/Savage feud captivated me, and while I enjoyed watching before then, the Warrior/Savage feud was the first feud that got into my head and pulled me in for good. I enjoyed Warrior/Hogan, but Warrior/Savage had a concrete face versus a concrete heel, and in the end the bad guy saw the error of his ways and got the girl. It certainly helped that I also got to see the Savage/Liz relationship, and how dysfunctional it was prior to that point, to really cement exactly how big a deal it was.

Andre beating Hogan on SNME and giving Dibiase the belt was what hooked me on WWF. Ric Flair Vs. Sting at the Clash is what pulled me into NWA/WCW.

Mine is pretty much the same as scottyflamingos, my cousin was a wrestling fan and I wasn't. Hadn't watched WM 3 even though my cousin had it on tape. Then one night my parents went to my uncles to play cards and I came along to hang out with my cousin. That night WWF The Main Event was on and I actually complained a little when my cousin (and his grandmother who was really old but a huge wrestling fan) turned it on. I sat down and watched it out of boredom and I think the first match was Savage vs HTM and almostly instantly I thought Savage was the greatest thing ever and I hated HTM. Then the whole match with Andre and Hogan with that awesome storyline pretty much hooked me to see what happens next. Then last was a tag match with The Hart Foundation who I thought were pretty cool. After the show I wanted more, my cousin was nice enough to lend me his copy of WM 3 and the next morning I didn't watch cartoons but put WM 3 into the VCR. After I finished it I watched it again but invited my next door neighbor friends over, indoctrinating them in wrestling. Ever since that morning I was a fan of wrestling.

Same with scottyflamingo; it was andre/hogan at The main event. After that, I rented wrestlemania 1-3 and later 4 from the local video store.

My cousin was watching WWF on channel 9 in NY back when they had Thriller as the theme music. I was an MJ mark so it caught my attention. Think it was late 84 and like everybody else back then, Hogan brought me in. Think it was the Rocky III connection.
I stopped being a fan right after WM IX, the Taker/Gonzalez match was embarrassing to an 18 year old to explain to friends and family.
Stone Cold and Tyson brought me back in and Ive been watching ever since.

I was only a casual wrestling fan if that. And then one day I was at the local video rental place and saw the box art for WrestleMania 6. That looked fucking awesome and I had to see it. The show being so great and Warrior/Hogan being epic got me hooked. I actually probably rented that tape at least 50 times.

I was slowly getting into wrestling throughout late 89 into 1990, but the build to the Ultimate Challenge and the subsequent Earthquake destruction of Hogan hooked me in for good.

Probably the Survivor Series where the Undertaker debuted.
I had heard about Hogan/Ordorff and knew that Randy Savage had "turned" on Hulk Hogan when the Mega Powers exploded.
The anticipation of that mysterious egg and the magic of Hogan/Warrior in the ring at the end of the night had me hooked.

I was a fan before The Rockers broke up, but Marty Jannetty going through the Barber Shop window was what made me a fan for life.
