With the NFL season more than halfway done, a lot of coaches will be facing that dreaded day after the season ends, when some will be unemployed by lunch. Several are definitely riding that line as of now, some will be on it as their teams collapse in December, or in the playoffs early on. Who do you see as needing to update their resume stat?
For me, Romeo Crennel has got to go. The Chiefs are a team who is as bad as it can get in football. They have one bright spot in Jammal Charles, but Crennel seems unable to figure the offense out game to game to make him the star he could be.
Also, with Sean Payton's long-term deal being voided, I see him holding a press conference in January wearing a hat with a blue star on it. Everyone knows how high Jerry Jones is on the coach that got away, and he has a track record of taking bad teams and turning them around. I don't think Romo's a terrible QB, and like he did with Brees, Payton could take a guy who's clinging to his career in the NFL, and turn him into a superstar.
My surprise firing pick this year is going to be Mike McCarthy. Green Bay is loaded with talent, especially considering they have one of the top QB's in the league in Rodgers. But in-fighting is beginning to tear the team apart on the inside. They should have been a top 2 seed, but are fighting tooth and nail to not end up a wild-card. I think he's put to pasture at the end of the season, in hopes of bringing in someone who can coach off the field as much as own, and refocus this talented team on why they get their checks.

Id say Crennel, Norv Turner and Andy Reid are goners for sure.
With new ownership in Cleveland, Id imagine that Shurmur is going to get canned too. The Panthers probably make a change unless they finish strong.
I dont see Payton going to the Cowboys, think he will be loyal to the Saints.
Lastly, I wouldnt mind seeing my Jets clean house from top to bottom but the owner is too cheap to can anyone with time left on the contract so it wont happen.

I think Andy Reid is toast. I honestly can't believe they haven't fired him yet. I think he's gone following their next loss, or barring that, the day after the end of the season.
Kansas City's problems run a lot deeper than Romeo Crennel, but he's gone, too.
Unless Dallas rebounds and makes the playoffs, Garrett is out.
Shurmer in Cleveland, Gailey in Buffalo, Ryan in New York, Norv Turner in San Diego are all done regardless of their finish.
Fisher might go from St. Louis if they don't get some production out of that group. I don't know if they'd want to get rid of him that quick. He's a great coach, and he might be able to do something there.

He deserves to go on the Mario Williams signing alone, never mind the idiotic extension he gave to Fitzpatrick and all the other crap over the last 3 years.

As bad as my Jets have been, I couldnt fathom why the Bills hired Nix and/or Gailey. And to top that off the Fitzy extension is nearly as bad as the Sanchez one.
