For me, it's Undertaker vs Shawn at WM25. I kept hearing about it, and hearing about, and I was so excited to see it. So, I bought the DVD, came home, and was beyond disappointed.
I understand if you saw it live, then that would be very exciting and change your perception of the match. I'm that way with Taker v HHH 2.
But I've seen Shawn v Taker 5 times now, and I've only got it up around ***1/2. They do some basic wrestling, Taker almost kills himself, then they lay around and trade finishers for 6 hours. Their 2nd match at WM was levels better.

Undertaker versus Mankind Hell In A Cell. The flow never gets established, as there's a couple minutes action, a big bump, down time, a few more minutes action, a big bump, wash, rinse, repeat.
I realize to most people this match made Mick Foley into a god, but I follow several Japanese companies, so I've seen his crazy death matches with Abdullah and Terry Funk. To me this match was a glorified beatdown, and I need more than that to enjoy a match to the point it achieves legendary status as this one did.

The Shawn Vs Bret Iron Man match bores me to death. I hate that it went an hour with no falls. The HHH Vs Rock Iron Man was a lot better with more of a story. Things like HHH taking a DQ and then pinning Rock.
The Cena Vs HBK Raw match that went like 45 minutes was another one. It was cool to have a match go that long on TV, but the match itself was nothing special.

I think the problem with the Hell in A Cell with Foley and Undertaker was that they had an impossible standard to live up to based on the Shawn-UT match. I was there in person, and it was HOLY SHIT! then basically a squash with a little offense from Mick. The fact that he could even put his scrambled brain back together enough to take the second bump was impressive. I love watching it, but it's like *1/2 to me.
I can't stand the Shawn Michaels-Razor Ramon ladder match at WMX. Just Shawn having a match with a couple of props. It was innovative, but it's been done better several times, including the rematch.

I agree. It's not in the level of 'I can't stand it' but it's only about ***1/2. I mean, after you see the rematch, TLC, or Christian vs Kaz, the WrestleMania X one just doesn't hold up.

I have to agree with Scotty, that HBK/Bret Hart Iron Man match is sleep inducing.

I third the WM12 Iron Man...
...and I know this may be blasphemous, but I don't love Austin/Rock at WM17 as much as the rest of the world. Still a great match, but not a ***** in my book...I don't know why it bugs me, but something blocks me from going the full monty on it.

I never minded the heel turn...I just think they should have held off until Raw the next night.

I agree, the Iron Man match is such a bore. I also don't go full monty on Austin vs Rock at WM17. I don't think Wm17 is the greatest WM, either. Gimmie WM24, 26, 28, or 20 over 17 anyday.
I also don't dig the hour long match between Flair & Steamboat. The first match where Steamboat wins is a far better one in my opinion.

I agree with all the matches here outside of HBK/Razor WMX (though I will concede that it's NOT *****), but I gotta go with the HITC at this years WM. Just a boring 3 man circle jerk piece of shit match where the cage had no effect on the match at all, people call it *****, I say *1/2 at most.

I need to watch WM all over again, because there was a guy at the place I was at that just ruined the whole thing.
I recall really digging it, but I hated Shawn's involvement. God, it was beyond lame. Also, there was no doubt that 'Taker was gonna win. But the year before, the entire room was on the edge of our seats.
