So the A&8 angle seems to be failing fast. What had a bit of nwo buzz early on has turned into what most consider the sore spot of the current product.
AJ styles has lost all title shots for a year, and likely a year's worth of main events with it.
So I'd have the likely outcome of D-Lo and Wes Brisco being in Aces and screwing Angle. AJ would lose to Daniels proving he is on a downward spiral.
AJ would have a match on Impact and the Aces would run in and attack his opponent, and surround him. But instead of attacking they'd grab a mic and offer him a spot in their group saying that he'd been rejected by TNA even though he was their crown jewel. Before he answers, Storm or Angle come out and tell him he can't seriously consider them, but AJ silently leaves.
Eventually after a few weeks one of the masked men is revealed to be AJ. The Aces open up the next Impact saying they'll close the show with AJ's pinning. End of show and The Aces call out AJ and present him with a leather Aces hoodie. AJ finally gets the mic and says they'll be back next week and all will be revealed. What Aces want, who is behind it, and why he joined.
A week later the Aces come out, now all unmasked: Doc, D-Von, D-Lo, Wes, AJ, maybe Masters or Knox or the others, whoever they want in the final group. AJ takes the mic and says it is time to bring out the Big Boss. He comes out on a bike and is revealed to be Eric Bischoff *GROAN*. Bisch gloats and brags about home TNA screwed him and forced him out and now he has revenge with Aces.
He say he has put the final dagger in TNA by taking the franchise, AJ Styles. He goes to hug AJ and STYLES CLASH! The other Aces look at Bischoff, then AJ. AJ nods and the Aces put a beatdown on Eric. They hand the mic to AJ.
"So I was down on my luck, no title shots, I lost to Daniels, and Aces makes me an offer, and a tiny piece of me considered it. But then I woke up and realized I'd never screw TNA like that, so I decided to find out the truth about Aces and destroy them from withing. To do what no one in TNA could do.
Finding out Bischoff was behind it wasn't surprising, but what was was the brotherhood these guys share. These are guys that have been mislead and misused in other promotions, or even TNA. These guys are hungry, like I used to be. So I decided not to destroy the Aces & Eights, but to take it over."
