C'mon, we've all done it. I came up with some ridiculous crap in high school.
It was called Hardcore Hell. Basically It was a cage inside a cell like Kennel from Hell. At the top of each corner of the inner cage was a weapon and a key. The weapons would be a kendo stick, bag of tacks, barbed wire bat, and garbage can. In the area between the two cages was a bunch of tables set up and chairs. To win the match, you would have to get all four keys and unlock all four locks of the cell door.
Another idea I had that was a lot less stupid was what I called Ultimate Submission. Basically a match where the only falls that count are submissions and you have to be the first to score three submissions, one focused on a leg, one on an arm, and one on the head/neck.

Haha, yeah, your Hardcore Hell idea was a bit out there. Sounds like something Russo might have tried. No offense.
The submission match would be pretty cool, although I'd just tell the wrestlers to focus on different parts of the body, as opposed to making it a known stipulation.
And I actually never was one for coming up with gimmick matches. Even when I was backyard wrestling we just stuck to the classics.
Although a Finisher Match would be kind of cool. Like, a person to hit the other guy 3 times with his finisher would be the winner.

Problem with that is you'd just have to hit three in a row because usually the finisher takes you out.

These days it seems like you have to have a finisher 3 times to win a match that means anything, I fucking hate it. Anyway, one gimmick match I came up with is a sort of combination HITC and ladder match. Take a regular sized cage and put a roof on it with holes above each corner so the wrestlers can climb from inside the cage to on top of it, then hang the belt high enough above the roof to where you'd need a ladder to reach it from there. Another one: a table battle royal. The ring is surrounded by as many tables as there are wrestlers (minus one), you get eliminated when you get put through one of the tables, wrestlers aren't allowed to move the tables.

The table royal actually sounds cool.
MUCH better than the reverse battle royal.

I could see a battle royal in a cage being decent. but not in the elimination sense. But 10 guys and the first to escape would set up a lot of potential top of the cage spots with a logical reason for them.
The ladder cage would be interesting. TNA has had ladders on the cage roof before, but not as an official part of the match.

Or a battle royal in a cage... You mean the Bunkhouse Stampede? Yep. One of the worst matches I've ever seen.

A Finishers Match. One where pinfalls will only be counted after you hit your finisher on your opponent. Or--in a twist--use theirs on them. Could really ratchet up the tension and build through the match. Or kill off a finish once and for all. Eh.

A finisher's match is every WWE match basically. Now an Opponent's Finisher might be cool.
Another match I had was an Around the World Match. You have to score a Pinfall, a Submission, and a Countout to win.

That's actually a pretty cool idea, Scotty. I'm surprised no one has thought of that before. Especially CM Punk, with him claiming to be the best at everything.
