3 things wrestling is sorely missing today.
When I was a kid that was part of the magic of wrestling, the over-the-top characters with crazy paint and masks and the obnoxious managers that made you want to see them get their ass kicked.
Rey and Sin Cara are the only guys with masks and kids LOVE Rey. Sting's the only act with make-up, and everyone thinks you have to have ovaries to manage.

I agree with all three...especially managers and masks. I think we were headed there with AW and the PTP but then he got canned and it set the movement back. We need a good heel manager with a stable of mid card heels to get the ball rolling.
Masks are a no brainer...they really should start up a juniors division with a bunch of masked stars and market them heavily on Saturday Morning Slam. They can house the division on SD.

The manager thing I do miss. I was recently watching the Bobby Heenan documentary and thinking about how much I miss managers like that. Vickie Guerrero is pretty good, but obviously not the level of Bobby.
The masks & the paint though? Eh. When I think of that, I think of early 90's wrestling. I think of Repo-Man. and Knuckleball Schwartz. And when I think of masks? I think of Sin Cara and his inability to not screw up a head-lock.
I hate to say it, but the one thing that needs to happen is Vince needs to die. That's the only way the product will change.

haha, well because that's around when I started watching wrestling.
The more I think about it, I do miss the face paint. But wrestlers these days strive to be so realistic, you know? I mean, who was the last guy to actually use face paint, gotta be either Warrior or Sting.
Oh wait, The Demon used it.

I mean I hate Hardy, but he has a huge following and sells a ton of merch. People love that crap.
