Out of all the star power in the chamber, they go with Swagger?! How on Earth can they fathom this to be a good idea?
I also don't think 'Taker is gonna show up, so what about Punk?
I thought it'd be cool if Punk called him out, only for 'Taker to answer and say he has nothing to prove, but knows someone who's calendar is available for WM, at which point Shawn comes out.
You know it'd be a great match, and the build up would rock. Plus, what better way to get Shawn into the match than 'taker bringing him in?

You know, if they wanted Swagger to be viewed as a main eventer, they might not should have jobbed him constantly for the last two years. This company baffles me.
And if Punk doesn't get a major match tonight, then it just proves to company resigned him 2 years ago because they were afraid to have him go somewhere else, but wanted to make an example of anyone daring to question the great McMahons.

Del Rio-Swagger shouldn't even be for the title at a minor PPV. Del Rio in the main event I can totally understand. However, here is who would be a better choice than Swagger: Big Show (if they didn't do 3 other times), Jericho, Henry, kane, bryan, Orton, Sheamus (before it was face-heel, now its face-face), Ryback, member of the shield, Ziggler.
Here would be better match-ups than Del Rio-Swagger with a ton more heat:
Kane-Bryan (Hell No explodes)
Jericho-Ziggler
Sheamus-Bryan rematch
Ryback-Henry (battle of the big guys)
Sheamus-Henry (never got a true blow-off to their feud 2 years ago)
That is just my top 5.

'Mania is going to suck, there is no way around it. It looks like 'Taker isn't showing up so there is little for Punk to do. Who knows what they do with Brock... and if it is HHH then that is a repeat of a boring match... and Rock hasn't had a good match since returning (whether it was something I wanted to see or not) it is just not a compelling card at all.

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic that The Rock hasn't had a great match with Punk yet. When Punk was champ, he had great matches with Cena, Del Rio, Jericho, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Ziggler, and quite a few others; so, who's to blame?

I think Taker is gonna be back. HHH made a point of saying we'd see Taker back and I don't think he'd say that if there was any real doubt to his return.
I dunno. I really don't care about any of it. Punk has become a one note mustache twirling heel instead of any kind of layered character.
