Anyone watch UFC?

I've been watching TUF this year because I am a huge Sonnen mark. A few thoughts:

-Sonnen seems like a legit nice guy and further proves that he's a genius for using promos to make his career. Hell, Jones has basically admitted he has to try and not like him too much since they are gonna fight.

-Sonnen is a better coach than I thought. I really thought Jones was gonna clean up but Sonnen is 3/4 with all being KO's to Jones' one decision victory.

-Uriah Hill is a damn beast. If he doesn't win the who thing I will be surprised.

-Bubba McDaniel is a giant tool and I'm so glad his ass tapped.

I love martial arts, always have, and I dig pro-wrestling, so one would think I'd love UFC. But it's never caught my attention.

Any fights that stand out that I should check out?

Its really jumped the shark a lot for me in the last few years as it just gets more and more boring... and most of the people that do it are meat heads that think that the sport of MMA is both a legitimate form of martial art, and a sound fighting (in real life, not in the cage) technique, even though it is neither.

I'd suggest starting with TUF. You'll have guys you like and guys you hate so that will make the fights more interesting. Plus, since the guys are less experienced, big flashy knockouts are more likely.

Was Tank Abbot ever shit in the UFC world?

In the EARLY days he was huge. Came out of nowhere and was getting big knockouts. But that was back when the fighters had basically one style like Karate or Ju Jitsu. Once the MMA aspect came in he got his ass kicked every time.
