Trying to get some activity in the lonely groups.
This list begins and ends with Halo for me. I don't get it. But then I've always been more of a single player gamer. It just seems generic to me. Something like Resistance has everything Halo does, but a really cool story.

Yeah, Halo being as big as it is seems like a fluke to me. What really makes it any better than the other FPS out there? I loved Black on the PS2, and thought it was a lot more fun than Halo.
Shit, how disappointing was Doom 3?

Never played Doom 3. I think a lot of Halo has more to do with Xbox being the big console winner and the first system to make the online gaming thing work in a big way.
Another one is Street Fighter. I've always preferred Mortal Kombat. Cooler characters and fatalities.

I don't really remember Mario Sunshine being highly rated to begin with. A lot of people complained that the only time it felt like a Mario game was when he lost the water pack.
The rest I agree with, Especially F'n Madden. I cannot understand how people will shell out $60 a year for an updated roster.
GTA sucks too. WAY too easy to ditch the cops. You murder a hooker and all you have to do is run around a little bit. There was a game on the PS1 called Driver that had way better car chases because the cops were tough. They'd come after you for running a red light and when you ran, they called in backup. Nothing more satisfying than having six cops flying after you, gunning around a corner and ducking into a parking garage and losing them.
