Not sure if this where the "Vanilla Midgets" thing comes from, and I know this is kind of old but I came across this comment from Kevin Nash just now... www.wrestlezone.com/news/259213-kevin-nash-says-wrestling-died-when-benoit-a-guerrero-became-world-champions What an arrogant prick... I know I shouldn't be surprised, and even considering the way those two ended up... just wow. It is kind of typical of "big" guys in the business though, even at the indy level they don't think you can truly be a "top guy" unless you are huge. Having said all that... thank Superman that he is more or less out of the business.

I remember that quote. Nash is probably the biggest asshole in wrestling. I used to say JBL, but I've heard he has matured a lot. Just follow Nash on Twitter to see what an immature little prick he is.
Nash's view is the "bigger is better" philosophy of Hogan. Of course that philosophy greatly benefits him. But if it was true, Big Show should have been the biggest act of all time. In reality, Hogan was the exception to the rule of Big guys being huge draws for the most part. Bob Backlund, Harley Race, Ric Flair, Dusty, none of them were guys that were "larger than life" as far as their bodies. Billy Graham sure, but he didn't have a long dominant run.
Andre was more of a freak show attraction and did not work as a main event champion. If you kept him under the microscope of constant title matches week after week, the fans would have grown bored.

Honestly, I don't think Nash really means this, and just said it to piss off the smarks and keep heat for himself on the indie market.

I disagree. This attitude is prevalent among big people in THIS BUSINESS (and society in general) and I can see a guy like Nash who has an ego the size of all outdoors thinking that way in a minute.

Yeah, Nash is constantly bitching at people on his Twitter and taking shots at insulting tweets that anyone else would ignore. The other day he said something about taking a walk on the beach and immediately followed it with
"Anyone says anything about my quad gets BANNED"
