For me, it's a toss up between the Super Nintendo and N64.
Super Nintendo was there when I got into wrestling, and when I found Royal Rumble & Raw. I absolutely loved those games. My friends and I would create PPVS, write them down, and play them out. It was a blast. The only problem was the blisters you get. For those that haven't played either, when you get into a grapple the only way to win is to mash your buttons. Whoever presses their buttons the most wins. I use to have to wrap my fingers in band-aids, no joke.
Also, there was Mortal Kombat II. I was as obsessed with this game as anyone has ever been with one. It was all I did. I knew everything about it from every which way. Loved it.
Then when N64 dropped, shit done changed. The wrestling games don't even need to be spoken about. If you played them, then you know. Then there's Goldeneye. For my friends who didn't dig wrestling, we had that. I mean, countless hours were put into that game, because it was so much fucking fun. There was nothing better than proximity mines, something I haven't seen implemented in current FPS. Starfox was great too. I knew people who bought an N64 just to have that game.
Hell, I also have to give a shout out to PS1, simply for the Resident Evil series, which in my humble opinion, is the greatest game series of all time. The original RE game actually gave me one of the biggest scares in my entire life, so you know that shit is too legit to quit. I also loved Twisted Metal 2. But their wrestling games sucked, and I found myself playing the N64. Props to Final Fantasy 7 as well. Which still remains the game I played for the longest, uninterrupted amount of time; 12 hours.
In the end, I gotta go with N64. Because even when my friends and I got into our early 20's, we still played that bad bitch all the time.
